NOTICE OF A MEETING OF HAGWORTHINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and Councillors are summoned to attend the meeting of Hagworthingham Parish Council that will be held on Monday 4 July 2022 at JJ’s Café, Main Road, Hagworthingham at 7.30 p.m. at which the under mentioned business will be transacted.

Members are advised that a site visit to inspect the trees in the lay-by at Church Lane is scheduled for 7.00 p.m. and all are invited to attend.

There will be a maximum 15 minute forum prior to the commencement of the meeting when members of the public may ask questions or make short representations to the Council.  At the discretion of the Chairman there may be an additional 5 minutes at the end of the meeting at which members of the public can raise points relating to the meeting or items for consideration for inclusion on the next agenda.

Following which the Council will receive reports of the Police, County and District Councillors.

6.  Trees and Highways Matters

(i)  To receive an update on progress with highways matters (as available); 

(ii)  to consider the trees in the lay-by at Church Lane and any necessary remedial works;

(iii) to consider any necessary reporting of works needed to trees outside JJ’s Cafe;

(iv) to consider the triangle at Church Lane and what works are necessary to bring the area back up to an acceptable standard for future maintaining.

7.  Community Speedwatch

To further consider progress with restarting Community Speedwatch exercises.  

8.  Village Signs

To progress ideas for replacement/refurbishment of village signs.

9.  Financial Matters
 
(a)  Monies at Bank

(b)  To approve payment of outstanding invoices, including payment for church fence at 50% of £2337.50

10.   Planning Matters 

To note current planning application (consultation time expired):

S/070/01029/22 | Planning Permission - Extension to existing storage building. | MANOR HOUSE, MANOR ROAD, HAGWORTHINGHAM, SPILSBY, PE23 4LN

No objections were raised and no comment was submitted on behalf of the Parish Council.

11.  To receive reports from Councillors relating to outstanding projects 
 
To receive reports from Members relating to outstanding projects and requests for matters to be placed on the next agenda.  No resolutions may be passed under this item.
