NOTICE OF A MEETING OF HAGWORTHINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and Councillors are summoned to attend the meeting of Hagworthingham Parish Council that will be held on Monday 28 February 2022 at JJ’s Café, Main Road, Hagworthingham at 7.00 p.m. at which the under mentioned business will be transacted.

There will be a maximum 15 minute forum prior to the commencement of the meeting when members of the public may ask questions or make short representations to the Council. At the discretion of the Chairman there may be an additional 5 minutes at the end of the meeting at which members of the public can raise points relating to the meeting or items for consideration for inclusion on the next agenda.

Following which the Council will receive reports of the Police, County and District Councillors.

Hagworthingham Parish Council does not object to this application.

(ii)   S/070/00113/22 | Planning Permission - Extension to existing dwelling to provide a conservatory. | HOLLY OAK, BOND HAYES LANE, HAGWORTHINGHAM, SPILSBY, PE23 4LQ

Hagworthingham Parish Council raises no objection to this planning application.

(b)   To note the following planning approvals:

(i)   S/070/02118/21 - Outline erection of 1no. dwelling - MANOR LODGE, MANOR ROAD, HAGWORTHINGHAM - APPROVED

Hagworthingham Parish Council made no objection to this application but commented with regard to access/egress that it is a blind bend with four existing entrances/exits off.

(ii)   S/070/02508/21 | Planning Permission - Erection of 3no. houses with integral garages and construction of a vehicular access, existing agricultural barn to be demolished. | LAND   ADJACENT TO HOME FARM, MAIN ROAD, HAGWORTHINGHAM, SPILSBY, PE23 4LT – FULL PLANNING PERMISSION

Hagworthingham Parish Council made no objection to this application but raised concerns that  this is a substantial development with proposed access off a very busy main road; it is on a bend with very poor vision of traffic coming in either direction for vehicles coming out the proposed exit.

(iii)   S/070/02085/21- Change of use, conversion of, extension and alterations to existing building to provide self contained guest accommodation and additional living accommodation – THE OLD RECTORY, BOND HAYES LANE, HAGWORTHINGHAM – FULL PLANNING PERMISSION

Hagworthingham Parish Council made no comment in respect of this application.

8.   Highways Matters

(i)   Update, as available, on any ongoing Highways matters.

(ii)   Update on refurbishment or possible replacement (as necessary) to bench at Linden Close, and to consider a memorial plaque to commemorate the original dedication.

9.   Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

(i)   To consider the use of Anglian Water funds remaining (£350) to fund grants requested for the following village events:

(a)   Friends of Hagworthingham and Holy Trinity Church:- £175 towards an event on The Rectory Field on Sunday 5th June 2022, to include a picnic, childrens’ races and band to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee;

(b)   Holy Trinity Church:- £175 towards participation in The Lincolnshire Wolds & Coast Churches Festival on 10/11 September 2022; and

(ii)   to consider the further request from Friends of Hagworthingham and Holy Trinity Church for a grant of £50 to purchase Jubilee Medals for the Childrens’ races at the Sunday 5th June Queen’s Platinum Jubilee event to be funded from general reserves.

(iii)   To note the gift of a Platinum Jubilee flag.

10.   Spring Litter Pick

It is suggested that a Spring litter pick be arranged to spruce up the village; Members are asked for input into getting this arranged and co-ordinated.

11.   To receive reports from Councillors relating to outstanding projects

To receive reports from Members relating to outstanding projects and requests for matters to be placed on the next agenda. No resolutions may be passed under this item.

12.   To receive a report of the Clerk in relation to Council matters

14.   To confirm the date of the next meeting of the Council

The date of the next ordinary meeting of the Council is proposed as Monday 11 April 2022 to immediately follow the Annual Parish Meeting scheduled for 7.00 p.m. on that date, but not earlier than 7.15 p.m.
