NOTICE OF A MEETING OF HAGWORTHINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and Councillors are summoned to attend the meeting of Hagworthingham Parish Council that will be held on Monday 4 September 2023 at JJ’s Café, Main Road, Hagworthingham at 7.30 p.m. at which the under mentioned business will be transacted.

There will be a maximum 15 minute forum prior to the commencement of the meeting when members of the public may ask questions or make short representations to the Council.  At the discretion of the Chairman there may be an additional 5 minutes at the end of the meeting at which members of the public can raise points relating to the meeting or items for consideration for inclusion on the next agenda.

Following which the Council will receive reports of the Police, County and District Councillors.

4.  Notes of the meeting of the Council held on Monday 3 July 2023 to be approved as Minutes to be signed by the Chairman 

5.  Co-Option to Vacant Seats

To note the two vacant seats remaining and to receive details of any persons wishing to be considered for Co-Option.

6.  Community Speedwatch

To receive an update on Community Speedwatch and the proposal to restart in Spring 2024.

7.  Provision of second defibrillator in the village

To receive an update on the stalled negotiations with the Church with regard to provision of a defibrillator on Church Lane, and to consider and decide whether or not the Parish Council wishes to pursue this, or any alternative, proposal.

8.  War Memorial Repairs/Renovations

To receive an update on the necessary repairs/renovations to the War Memorial and to consider delegating authority to the Clerk, in consultation with the Chairman, to instruct repairs to be effected, subject to receipt of a reasonable quotation.

9.   Financial Matters

(a)  Monies at Bank 

(b)  To approve payment of outstanding invoices (Appendix A attached)

(c)  To progress additional bank signatories

10.  Highways Matters

(i) TTRO/TTR004616

Temporary Traffic Restriction – tree maintenance – Raithby by Spilsby – 18/09/23 – 21/09/23 restrictions as and when required during the period.

11.   Planning Matters 

To note Planning Approvals as advised:

(i)  S/070/01240/23 | Planning Permission – Erection of a house and construction of vehicular access WEST END HOUSE, MAIN ROAD, HAGWORTHINGHAM, SPILSBY, PE23 4LT – APPROVED
    
The Parish Council was neutral with respect to this application.

(ii) S/070/00470/23| Change of use of land for the siting of 6no. camping pods and hot tubs and construction of a vehicular access and an internal access road. | LAND EAST OF PEPPERS HOLT WOOD, HARRINGTON ROAD, HAGWORTHINGHAM – APPROVED

The Parish Council objected to this application.

12.  To receive reports from Councillors relating to outstanding projects 
 
To receive reports from Members relating to outstanding projects and requests for matters to be placed on the next agenda.  No resolutions may be passed under this item.
