NOTICE OF A MEETING OF HAGWORTHINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and Councillors are summoned to attend the meeting of Hagworthingham Parish Council that will be held on Monday 3 July 2023 at JJ’s Café, Main Road, Hagworthingham at 7.30 p.m. at which the under mentioned business will be transacted.

There will be a maximum 15 minute forum prior to the commencement of the meeting when members of the public may ask questions or make short representations to the Council.  At the discretion of the Chairman there may be an additional 5 minutes at the end of the meeting at which members of the public can raise points relating to the meeting or items for consideration for inclusion on the next agenda.

Following which the Council will receive reports of the Police, County and District Councillors.

6.  Co-Option to Vacant Seats

To note the three vacant seats and to receive details of any persons wishing to be considered for Co-Option.

7.  To Review the Risk Assessment and provision of a ladder

Deferred from the last meeting, to review the Risk Assessment with regard to the deployment of the reactive speed device and consider request for a ladder to carry out same. (Mins 11 & 19, 22.5.23 refer)

8.  Community Speedwatch

To further consider progress with restarting Community Speedwatch exercises.  

9.  Grant Request from Dales Charity for provision of electrical supply at the Church

To consider a possible grant request from the Dales Charity in connection with provision of an electrical supply for a defibrillator to be sited at the Church.

10.  Highways Matters

(i) Condition of verge outside of the Church

(ii) Condition of White Cottage, Bond Hays Lane

(iii) Future uses for telephone box at lay-by (proposals, logistics and costings)

11. Anglian Water 

To consider a Parish Council representation to Anglian Water with regard to the recent numerous water outages experienced in the village.

12.  Financial Matters

(a)  Monies at Bank

(b)  To approve payment of outstanding invoices

(c)   Any update on bank signatory arrangements

13.   Planning Matters 

To comment on current planning application:

14.  To receive reports from Councillors relating to outstanding projects

17.  To confirm the date of the next meeting of the Council
