NOTICE OF A MEETING OF 
HAGWORTHINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and Councillors are summoned to attend the meeting of Hagworthingham Parish Council that will be held on Monday 14 April 2025 at JJ’s Café, Main Road, Hagworthingham immediately following the Annual Parish Meeting scheduled for that date at 7.00 p.m., but not earlier than 7.15 p.m. at which the under mentioned business will be transacted.
 
There will be a maximum 15 minute forum prior to the commencement of the meeting when members of the public may ask questions or make short representations to the Council.  At the discretion of the Chairman there may be an additional 5 minutes at the end of the meeting at which members of the public can raise points relating to the meeting or items for consideration for inclusion on the next agenda.
 
Due to Purdah restrictions in force there will be no reports of the Police, County and District Councillors.

5.  Co-Option to Vacant Seats
     To note the two vacant seats available to be filled by Co-Option.
 
6.  Village Furniture
(a) To note the installation of 2 x percher seats in the bus shelter and the order placed for the new Manor Road Noticeboard;
(b) to receive an update on whether there is a proposal to place an additional bench (possibly at the Church).
 
7.  Community Speedwatch
To receive any updates on volunteer recruitment and proposal for re-starting exercises.
 
8.  VE Day Celebration
To formally approve the request for a PC contribution towards the Village VE Day 80th Celebration on 8th May 2025 of one third expenses up to £200.
 
9.  Leaflet
To formally approve the proposed PC leaflet to be distributed to homes in the village promoting awareness of PC activities, village events and volunteer recruitment and to authorise the printing of same. (min 92(b) 24.2.25 refers)
 
10.  Highways Matters
Notification of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order TTR0101552.05.2 – Road Closure Raithby Road northwest of Hagworthingham crossroads for drainage excavations and repairs 5 days during the period 28.04.25 to 02.05.25.   For noting only.
 
11. Financial Matters
(a)  Monies at Bank
(b)  To approve payment of outstanding invoices and payments made between meetings. 
(c)  To receive clarification on the grant requested for grass cutting at the Church and to approve (or otherwise) the request from Holy Trinity Hagworthingham Supporters Group in the sum of £640 for 2025.
(d) To note the non-allocation by HMRC of the third quarter PAYE cheque.
                   
12.   To receive reports from Councillors relating to outstanding projects 
To receive reports from Members relating to outstanding projects and requests for matters to be placed on the next agenda.  No resolutions may be passed under this item.
 
13.  To receive a report of the Clerk in relation to Council matters
