NOTICE OF A MEETING OF
HAGWORTHINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and Councillors are summoned to attend the meeting of Hagworthingham Parish Council that will be held on Monday 24 February 2025 at JJ’s Café, Main Road, Hagworthingham at 7.00 p.m. at which the under mentioned business will be transacted.
There will be a maximum 15 minute forum prior to the commencement of the meeting when members of the public may ask questions or make short representations to the Council. At the discretion of the Chairman there may be an additional 5 minutes at the end of the meeting at which members of the public can raise points relating to the meeting or items for consideration for inclusion on the next agenda.
Following which the Council will receive reports of the Police, County and District Councillors.

4. Notes of the meeting of the Council held on Monday 25 November 2024 to be approved as
Minutes to be signed by the Chairman
5. Co-Options to Vacant Seats
To note that two vacancies remain available for co-option of Councillors.
6. Provision of new bench(es)
To further consider and decide upon provision of one/two new benches for the village and how to
proceed.
7. Replacement of Manor Road Noticeboard
To receive ideas for replacement of the Manor Road noticeboard and proposals to progress.
8. Community Speedwatch
To receive any update on volunteer recruitment and/or proposal to re-establish Community
Speedwatch exercises in the Spring.
9. Newsletter/leaflet drop
To consider the production of a newsletter/leaflet to be delivered to village households with updates on Parish Council activity and canvass of volunteers for CSW. A professional publication of A4 folded full colour on quality paper would cost c. £130 and would be delivered by volunteers.
10. Financial Matters
(a) Monies at Bank
(b) To approve payment of outstanding invoices and payments made between meetings
(c) Parish Grass Cutting Agreement 2025/26 – to decide to continue with the current LCC Amenity
Grass Cutting arrangement with allowance advised by LCC as £1752.12 and
to consider grass cutting arrangements for this year
(d) To receive correspondence in relation to a request for increased grant payment in respect
of grass cutting at the Church.
11. Planning Matters
To note the recent following planning approval:
Application reference S/070/01491/2024 - Erection of a two-storey residential annex to provide additional living accommodation including garden, patio and seating area. An existing building to be demolished. SOUTH VIEW, RAITHBY ROAD, HAGWORTHINGHAM
No Parish Council comment was submitted with regard to this application.
12. VE Day
To consider what, if anything, the parish council wishes to arrange to mark VE Day 80
8th May 2025.
13. To receive reports from Councillors relating to outstanding projects
To receive reports from Members relating to outstanding projects and requests for matters to be
placed on the next agenda. No resolutions may be passed under this item.
14. To receive a report of the Clerk in relation to Council matters
15. To receive general correspondence
16. To confirm the date of the next meeting of the Council
It is proposed by Cllr Hewitt that the meeting timetabled for Monday 7 April 2025 at JJ’s Café, to commence immediately following the Annual Parish Meeting scheduled for 7.00 p.m. that date, but not earlier than 7.15 p.m. be put back to Monday 14 April 2025.
