NOTICE OF A MEETING OF
HAGWORTHINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and Councillors are summoned to attend the meeting of Hagworthingham Parish Council that will be held on Monday 14 October 2024 at JJ’s Café, Main Road, Hagworthingham at 7.30 p.m. at which the under mentioned business will be transacted.
There will be a maximum 15 minute forum prior to the commencement of the meeting when members of the public may ask questions or make short representations to the Council. At the discretion of the Chairman there may be an additional 5 minutes at the end of the meeting at which members of the public can raise points relating to the meeting or items for consideration for inclusion on the next agenda.
Following which the Council will receive reports of the Police, County and District Councillors (as appropriate).

5. Co-Option to Vacant Seat
To note the vacant seat remaining and to receive details of any person wishing to be considered for Co-Option.
6. Update on electrical provision for defibrillator
To receive an update and progress report.
7. Benches and Grass Cutting
To receive an update and progress report.
8. Remembrance Sunday
To further consider collaboration between the Parish Council and the Church to provide a
Remembrance Sunday service with wreath laying arrangements to be determined.
9. Financial Matters
(a) Monies at Bank
(b) To approve S.137 donation to The Poppy Appeal for poppy wreath - £20.00
(c) To approve payment of outstanding invoices and payments made (as per Appendix A)
(d) Update on progress with additional bank signatories.
10. Planning Matters
(a) To note comments submitted outside of a meeting relation to the following application:
S/070/01346/24 | Planning Permission - Erection of a stable block. | PARTRIDGE HURN, DEEP
LANE, HAGWORTHINGHAM, SPILSBY, PE23 4LZ
Hagworthingham Parish Council supported this application.
(b) Members are asked to consider and make comments to the Local Planning Authority with
regard to the following planning application:
(i) S/070/01336/24 | Planning Permission - Erection of a manege for private use. | PARTRIDGE HURN, DEEP LANE, HAGWORTHINGHAM, SPILSBY, PE23 4LZ – Note: amended to remove provision of external flood lights.
(ii) S/070/01491/24 Planning Permission – Erection of a two storey residential annex to
provide additional living accommodation including a patio and seating area. An existing
building to be demolished.
11. To receive reports from Councillors relating to outstanding projects
To receive reports from Members relating to outstanding projects and requests for matters to be
placed on the next agenda. No resolutions may be passed under this item.

14. To confirm the date of the next meeting of the Council
The date of the next meeting of the Parish Council is proposed as Monday 25 November 2024 to commence at 7.00 p.m. in JJ’s Café. Please note winter start time.
15. To resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to
Meetings) Act 1960 to discuss the following matter:-
Clerk’s annual appraisal and matters relating to the terms and conditions of the Clerk’s contract of employment.
