NOTICE OF A MEETING OF HAGWORTHINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of Hagworthingham Parish Council will be held in JJ’s Cafe on Monday 13 January 2020 commencing at 7.00 p.m. at which the under mentioned business will be transacted.

Prior to the meeting there will be a maximum 15 minute forum between 7.00 and 7.15 p.m. when members of the public may ask questions or make short representations to the Council. At the discretion of the Chairman there may be an additional 5 minutes at the end of the meeting at which members of the public can raise points relating to the meeting or items for consideration for inclusion on the next agenda.

Following which and prior to the commencement of the formal part of the meeting the Council will receive reports of the Police, County and District Councillors.

To receive updates on:-

  1. Press support and coverage for speed limit reduction campaign;
  2. Any updates on speed limit reduction process.

6. Planning Matters

Planning Applications Received

S/070/02288/19 Outline erection of up to 3no. dwellings on the site of an existing agricultural building which is to be demolished (with means of access to be considered). HOME FARM, MAIN ROAD, HAGWORTHINGHAM, SPILSBY, PE23 4LT

7. Highways Matters To receive any updates:-

  1. On flooding at Church Lane;
  2. Obstruction of lay-by at Old Hall; report of action taken to assist school buses;
  3. Informal tree survey; as suggested at the last meeting, an informal tree survey is to be undertaken by the Parish Council to be alert to any trees in a potentially dangerous condition, whether the responsibility of the Parish Council or private landowners and to log and address the issue of overgrown hedges around the village. Members are asked to consider the timeframe and process for this to be actioned.

8. Dilapidated bench at Linden Close To consider the dilapidated state of the bench at Linden Close, corner of Harrington Road, and decide how best to proceed in its refurbishment/replacement/removal.

9. Financial Matters

(a) Monies at Bank

(b) To approve payment of outstanding invoices (as per Appendix A)

(c) To note precept demand for 2020/21 of £5824.15

(d) To consider uses for Anglian Water £500 goodwill payment

10. To receive reports from Councillors relating to outstanding projects

To receive reports from Members relating to outstanding projects and requests for matters to be placed on the next agenda. No resolutions may be passed under this item.

11. To receive reports from the Clerk in relation to Council matters

13. To confirm the date of the next meeting of the Council

The date of the next meeting of the Parish Council is proposed as Monday 24 February 2020 to commence at 7.00 p.m. in JJ’s Café.
